The greenhouse is here! We are having some slight delays (life has plans that we don't always know about) but are still excited and we will have better production of our herbs that we use to either make tinctures for our products or teas. The weather has been way too warm for my environmental nose, however we are enjoying it anyway. The anticipation of planting is always exciting for me. We are adding high quality minerals to all that we plant to support the health of the plants in a holistic way. Our soil has minerals, but we don't want any depletion. Give and take, that is the cycle. I suggested busting some of the granite on our property to my husband, but he gave me a "I am not thrilled with this idea" look. So off to the feed store I go! Happy planting to all! Greenhouses and solar 01/30/2012
After exploring several options, we have ordered our new greenhouse. This will provide year round growing, and all self powered from Solar. The greenhouse will be delivered early March and I am already dreaming about how it is going to look. The top is a geodesic dome and the night views of our starry skies will make it even more enjoyable. Later this year we are going to get started on our solar/wind hybrid system as our goal is to be completely on renewable energies. We have lots of new products rolling out this year after the testing is complete so keep checking our "What's New" page. 2011- What a year! 12/24/2011
What a year this has been! My Dad used to tell me life is like a country road. Hills and valleys, ups and downs. We finally got moved into our new location and are feeling somewhat settled again. Now the plans begin as we have more room in our new location and can decide on our greenhouse and planting areas. Stay tuned. | AuthorKathy Reese lives in the Southern Rocky Mountains where the air is clean, the water is pure and the cool nights produce potent and delicious vegetables and herbs.
